At the heart of Mission del Sol's Christian Education programs are learning and growing through Bible-centered lessons, mission activities and Christian fellowship for our children, youth, and adults. Our Bible-centered approach encourages children of all ages, to grow with each lesson and take home their faith journey to share with their families and the world around them. We provide multiple opportunities throughout the year for children to grow along their faith journey.  Our adults have several bible study opportunities to choose from using books by contemporary Christian authors as well as current events to discuss challenging issues increasing their understanding of how the Bible speaks to us in today's world.

Children

  • Sunday school

    Preschool - 5th Grade

Grade school kids go to Sunday School following the Children's Sermon each Sunday. Lessons follow our Sunday morning sermon series using the Holy Moly curriculum. Each week the children read from the Bible and watch an animated Bible story video, which introduces various Bible story characters. They get to discuss  the story with the leaders and their friends. We also sing songs and have a snack, along with other activities.
  • Mission activities

We offer a variety of mission projects for family participation throughout the year. Each third Sunday of the month we gather to serve God through mission with kids from all ages and their parents for kid focused mission opportunities. Some of the organizations that we have helped include, Family Promise, lunches for the East Valley Men's Shelter, blessing bottles to hand out to the homeless, Feed My Starving Children and many more.

  • Family Events

Throughout the year we have fun activities for families to gather, grow in our faith. Events throughout the year include a Lenten festival, Easter egg hunt, trunk or treat events, Advent festival, a special family Christmas Eve service and more. The community is always invited to attend these events. Come and bring your friends!

This is a fun and unique opportunity for all who participate. While Montlure has been displaced due to the Wallow Fire, we have discovered that Montlure is not a location, but is a community of past, present, and future campers bonded together with common purpose.
