A message from George Allman, Clerk of Session:
On behalf of the Session and the Interim Search Committee, I am delighted to introduce to you the Rev. Dr. David Hodgson who will provide interim leadership for our church family until an installed pastor is called by the voice of the congregation! We are unanimous in our excitement that David has agreed to be with us for this most important time in our church’s life.
David has served three tenured pastorates of 10 to 14 years each and has just completed his 9th interim assignment. He has been active in presbytery, serving as moderator, chair of council, and serving on Commission on Ministry and many other assignments including administrative commissions.
David has been an ordained Presbyterian minister for 50 years, and during that time has provided pastoral leadership to churches in PC(USA), the UCC, and in the IOCC (the international council of community churches). He has demonstrated a strong interest in ecumenical and interfaith organizations while enriching his understanding of our treasured sacred inheritance.
David’s contract began on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. To reach him, please call the church office or send him an email using the Contact Us page.
